- The pallid mare joined the procession. She had no words to speak. The look in her eyes hinted that there were things in her mind just begging to be said. Still though, she was silent. Her eyes dark and cold as she moved closer, but not too close. She kept her distance as she knew she should, hers what not a presence that would be warmly welcomed.
- Datura paid no mind to the others...faces she failed to recognize. But then she wasn't really looking at them, was she? These two mares had not seen each other since that day. That day in which she had died and through Saphira's own cruel twist of fate over Datura, brought her back. Datura had wanted to stay away but something greater than her own will had pulled her here.
- Despite every feeling in her small slender body which ached to hate the mare, there was an even greater impulse to be here in case she needed support. Datura had no control over this impulse which was fed into her through Saphira's subconscious. Datura felt what Saphira felt. There were times when Datura would shudder from her sleep with some intense feeling she couldn't control, a feeling that didn't even belong to her. What a cruel joke to forever hang on the emotions and whims of one that you loathe. Her ears went back and her tail twisted and slapped against her hindquarters. Her eyes bore into Saphira's shoulder to that little coil which was once her own. Datura hungered for it.
- It seemed Saphira was becoming ever closer to gaining complete control over Datura...that is if you could say she didn't have it already. But that hunger was something Saphira could never truly dissipate
- And so she stood unable to tear her eyes away from that scar. And even if just for this short while she felt some miniscule kind of comfort just to be near it once more...
