As focused as he was on the dying sky, Lithium didn't notice Huyana's approach until he heard her voice. It took him by surprise, but not unpleasantly- Lithium enjoyed the presence of his fellow horses. So, as she came up beside him, he twisted his head to give her a pleasant smile before returning his gaze to the sky.

"That's a nice story," he said, when she had finished telling it, "Though to believe it might make me feel bad: then I'd be enjoying his sadness every day. My mum always told me that the sun was a mare with pheonix wings, who was chased out of the sky every evening by a black wolf with the moon for eyes and stars in his fur, who wanted to eat her. If the sunset was really colorful, she'd say the wolf got her, but never permanently, coz she always comes back in the morning." The story brings a laugh out of him, remembering such old tales. "But my mum was full of stories. I think I like yours better."

Another glance for his companion, and Lithium bobbed his head slighly. The roan mare was someone he had never met-- until now, that was. Being called strange doesn't offend him-- on the contrary, it made him oddly proud. Strange Is Good. "It's no problem, I just enjoy beautiful things." This comment was accompanied by a wink. "I'm Lithium, nice to meet you. You remind me of water."
