Solira: The Ocean: its in the pills that pick you up [ MOCKINGBIRD ]

The sounds of the tide had lulled me into a nice cozy nap. The sun warmed my pale pink self, sunk into my bones (which poked up through my skin like the skeleton of a boat), the sand was soft beneath my hooves. Birds cried out quietly overhead, swooping and dancing in the sky. Fish played absently around my long-still hooves.

And then there was splashing and talking and bouncing. Irritated, I opened one eye part-way, peering out to eyeball the creature disturbing my peace.

What I saw reminded me, vaguely, of myself. Except more bouncy and smiley and... strange. Maybe like Lilium, when she'd been a skittish filly.

Oh, and this thing was blindingly colored as if to give me a headache.

"Uh. Hello."

I really wasn't sure the thing that bounced was capable of comprehension. Or that it wouldn't eat me.
