But then, I guess soon nothing here would come to surprise my Huyana, the strange seems limitless.

A pair of amber tinted eyes watched the mange-looking mare meander across the sea-soaked shore line. Body leaned against the rough trunk of a tree, the very beginning of the thin forest Solira also held past its sandy beach. It was the roan’s favorite position, capable of receding away from the open shore, but still close enough to see the happenings of the water’s edge. It was comforting view, to watch the waves in their rhythmic motion. She was not hidden well at the very front of the forest, she didn’t want to be. Huyana’s intent was not to huddle within the shadows, but neither did she desire to be as noticeable as anything is on the beach’s open expanse. In-between, everything was always in-between with her.
A rough shove sloughed off a large pile of black hairs, the loose entrails of her winter coat. Wavering beside her useful tree, feet extended and body was given a hefty shake which eased a grunt from her throat. The action caused a brief dust cloud riddled with floating black hair. Huyana exhaled loudly, tossing her head obstinately to resettle the mess of black mane laying across her neck. Black cords flicked across her rump and the roan was off, moving with a casual but confident saunter towards the chupacabra horse.
The white foam fizzled as it struck Huyana’s onyx limbs, the cold sting of the water a desired sensation across her thinly fleshed limbs. As she moved deeper into the ocean, seemingly ignoring Irene’s presence, her shifting limbs sent water into a splashing spray. Once the crashing waves almost reached her chest and belly Huyana halted, head lifting against the salty breeze the ocean always seemed to exude. The air was so… refreshing.
Amber eyes stared into the distance, ears trained at nothing in particular. But her voice, clear and crisp like a running stream, was for the mare at her side. ”Fascinating isn’t it, water? So powerful, yet so gentle. Destructive and healing… such a complicated thing for something so vital and simple.” Huyana’s lips broke into a frail smile, her head at last turning to settle her gaze upon the mare. ”I am Huyana.”
