Huyana felt restless in the depths of the sea washed homeland. Her mind was itching to grasp more understanding of Solira and its abundance of odd inhabitants. Brooding, everyone was brooding and worn by the slow winds of time. Everyone here seemed so… aged and burdened. It made Huyana feel vacant and empty, a lost soul wavering amongst the damned as she tried to find a niche to settle within. Where did she belong here, what tales would her namesake weave upon the lips of the sea-dwellers, upon the velvet muzzles of all within the Element? Purpose. She needed it. While not an overly loyal soldier to a herd land, she was apt to pledge herself to individuals and their ideals. But she was a good soldier, so she had always thought. Her duties were carried out with a cool and stable finesse, when she had them. This isn’t to say she needs a shopping list or a chore chart, but… perhaps she is spoiled. In her youth her purpose had been well defined before she’d left her mother’s side. Her life almost entirely was devoted to carrying out the goals of Bronze Rune and his collection of the Miscreant Band. Whatever laws her herd had laid down took a back seat to that shining star, and when it had crumbled, so had she. So to be now in a land with now Miscreant Group to lead her every action, no family to bias her decisions; Huyana felt excruciatingly worthless. And even more than that, she felt incapable and ignorant of so many things that ran rampant here. She had watched the moon set and the sun rise, she had watched clouds roll in and snow depart, but still so much escaped her notice and complete comprehension. It agitated her in a way she was unfamiliar with, and she didn’t like it. Hauling herself from the shaded canopy of the thin forest line, the blue gilded mare moved towards the shore line. As the days began to lengthen and the white of winter began to recede, the black coat of winter Huyana had shrugged on began to loosen its hold. With even a frail wind an array of the thick hairs would be dispersed, the glimmer of the silver hide beneath shining free for a moment, clawing to be free in time for spring’s prime. Nails struck the wet sand where the wave tips met the drier shore. Lost in thought, head bent low, the roan watched the earth depress as her weight leaned into her limb and hoof. Tilting her crania against her shoulder she watched the crescent mark remain in her wake, slightly jello-like in the water-logged earth. For a while she fascinated herself with this process, less awed by it than the fact it was a way to release her mind into thought, problems and wantons swirling on the back burner. So long she traveled like this in fact, she drew upon the recently assembled pair, head jerking up only as the chatter of Ill’s voice carried over. Body swayed to a halt, the distance between them a bit far for comfortable conversation. Huyana hesitated, uncertain if she wanted to break her solitary musings to banter about the wind and the sea once more. But something nagged her forward with a subtle step, movements nearly silent upon the shore as she drew upon them. What has she got to loose? Certainly nothing better to do. That and the calm jaguar standing beside one of the horses enthralled her completely. It wouldn’t be soon before she’d come to recognize the pets as belonging to Seers. [LMFAO so she seems entirely creepy, approaching and not even saying anything. I just couldn't think of anything intelligent to say yet :x] Message Thread: [MICAH + ILL] two birds with one stone - Huyana December 1, 2008, 7:12 pm god damnit clock - Huyana December 1, 2008, 7:13 pm « Back to thread
