The golden mare's welcome was pleasant, surprisingly so. There were no extravagant shows of undue affection, as she had received before. Nothing was more frustrating to Arundelle than superfluous displays of emotion. Courage showed herself to be an intelligent lady. Rarely do ones make such first impressions upon the copper mare. So, with a nod of her head Arundelle replied in an equally kind tone.
"Yes, that does sound quite refreshing. Might do me good to get a bit of a tour on the way as well."
Courage's smile was not returned, but that was no abnormality. Even though she felt at ease with this other mare, smiling was not something she does often. The mare proposed a solid idea as well. As much as Arundelle enjoyed the sot sounds of the ocean, she found it in her best interest to not drink such water. That, she had learned at a young age. She waited for Courage to take the lead, for she does not know her own way around Solira as of yet.
The breeze off of the water sifted through her mane and tail. Playing gently with the long hairs. Twisting an twirling them around her neck and hind legs. She found it soothing, yet bothersome at the same time. Oh how her mind wanders in even the briefest of silences. Really, you would think she would have a longer attention span. Her mind can not easily be satisfied though, and instead constantly searches for more. Always thinking.
