Dazrah wakes before the dawn having secured a good nights sleep and looks upon her fourth day in Solira with great eagerness. The strangeness of last nights final meeting no longer holds her and she is ready to meet more new faces…she knows there are countless others who remain as yet unknown to her. This state of things must not be allowed to continue. So she makes her way back towards the ocean front again for whatever else she has on her to-do list today saying good morning to her beloved sea must always be first. The sun is just breaking above the horizon setting the sky awash with brilliant color and as the panther cub rejoins his mind-mate Dazrah too comes upon the scene. She stands over looking the beach, watching as the sun rises and she calls a spirited greeting to the sky and the waves that kiss the beach before letting her attention drift to the dun stallion and his black cat.
“A lone figure stands upon the beach below me and I feel at once that it is my job to make him not so alone. Granted he has the company of the panther babe but it seems to me that those who have companions such as these reach a state of oneness with them that makes them not count towards dispelling loneliness. I could be wrong about that after all I have only encountered a few who have such familiars and not having one myself I am hardly an authority. None the less it stands to reason that one who is never truly alone would find a less conventional definition of the word that applies to them. Anyway there seems to be a sadness hovering about this one and that seals the deal. He will be meeting me this morning whether he wants to or not.”
The cremello mare makes her way down the incline separating the beach from her previous perch and once all four feet hit the sand she takes off cantering to catch the one who holds her interest just now. He is smiling by the time she reaches him and this puts her that much more at ease.
“It is always a pleasure to be greeted with a smile. I not believe we have met, my name is Dazrah…”
