Night looms upon the shores of Solira once again and once again Dazrah is in the process of removing herself from the beach so as not to end up sleeping in a dank and drafty cave. In her haste to get off the sands, however much she regrets this separation from the waves, she is paying less attention to her surroundings than is normal for her. So it is that she comes upon the flaming stallion and smoke hued mare hardly noting their existence until only a few strides separate them. She is behind the lady and the two legged child so that neither will see her at first but in plain view for the stallion. Here she stops drawn on by her desire to meet others and yet torn between that and the need to keep going. In the midst of this dilemma she does not catch the somewhat private nature of this meeting…a meeting between old friends, something a stranger should not be intruding upon. In the end while still over looking that glaring error her curiosity about the gray mare’s odd companion wins out.
“There is something compelling about these two, something of security, welcome and vast knowing that makes me want to meet them. They are not that much older than myself it seems but in knowledge of the ways of this world compared to them I suspect that I shall seem a child. The male radiates greatness and the female a sense of peace, love and compassion. There is something very motherly about her and this is a thing that I can relate to. Then there is the third member of this party. Will wonders never cease? I have heard of humans in the land I came from but there they were a threat always. Here we have one following along behind a horse as if it were a foal and the horse it’s mother. Just goes to show that one can not generalize in that way...there could not possibly be anything dangerous in this small creature, the one with such a sunny smile.”
She is frozen now partly by the simple intriguing sight of the child and partly by the sudden realization that she probably should not be here. Lucky for her this is a group unlikely to take offense at the uninvited presence or hold a grudge about having their conversation interrupted. None the less she remains where she is giving the situation what manners she can recover at this point and waiting to be summoned nearer before closing the distance completely.
