Courage is not a warrior; well, not in the sense that she goes to Blitzkrieg and fights tooth and nail. No, she is more of an intellectual thinker and uses her wits to fight. As soon as she heard the footfalls of a stranger landing on the ocean’s waters, her water and fire elements are quick to find the newcomer. He reeks of the desert, and her water can feel his pain. He is a prisoner, which meant he was probably in the worst of moods. As a teacher, Courage has nothing to do with the fact that he is a prisoner; she’s just a mere scholar amongst the chaos that has engulfed Solira. She smiles down at him, offering him a warm smile that is truly genuine. ”Hello sir, I’m Courage,” she said with a glance to his wound. ”That looks painful. Perhaps you should come to the inner lands. The hounds might come out soon.” Courage is almost like the only thing working to keep Solira’s spirits high, along with all those within it. ”I’d hate for you to have to defend me in some way and be further injured. And even then I’d hate it if you were in any way inconvenienced to have the burden of being by yourself.” She doesn’t say it. But she does let him know that his secret of being a prisoner is well-kept and wouldn’t be held over him in the least. ”Besides, I’ve heard that talking and company makes the time go by faster.” She smiles a modest smile, letting her eyes rest on him as she stands over him. Her muzzle goes to the ocean’s waters as they wash over him. She separates a smaller bundle of water, further separating the salt and various other things within the water. What was left was a fresh water pool for the other to drink from. ”You look thirsty,” she said with that angelic, radiant smile. She’s trying to help you and trying to make this as easy and painless as possible. You’ve got to appreciate that, right?
