Loti…such an adorable name for such a stunning horse…Desdemona stopped her thoughts there and shook her head in an attempt to clear them. Falling for another mare was a horrible thought: she could not do it. Her last love was now dead because of her feelings and she would not let Loti suffer the same fate. “Nice to meet you, Loti.” With that, she quickly trotted away, her heart nearly pounding out of her chest. The pounding of Desdemona’s hooves melted with the sound of her pounding heart, Helena’s haunting screams finding their way back into the foreground of Desdemona’s memories.
