Without realizing it, Marshall was reading Ill’s thoughts. The confusion lacing the air had opened his mind even farther than it usually was and suddenly everything Ill was thinking was being broadcasted into Marshall’s mind. He shook his head slightly, trying to clear the thoughts and wondering why he was suddenly thinking like this, when he realized that it was Ill who was thinking them and not him. A small smile curled his lips and feeling a little mischievous he nodded. “Aye, this is what happens when you chose an element.” He paused, finally able to understand what was going on and he shifted his weight slightly to the side. “My name is Marshall.” He shook his wet mane from his eyes, watching the other stallion curiously circle him. “It’s a super ability. I can change into a half fish.” He smiled, the waves climbing higher than normal upon the shore, washing along and around Ill’s legs. “It’s a perk of having Water.” He smiled again, shifting his weight so one leg could hang uselessly. “You haven’t been here long.” He says again, his voice soft and quiet as he watched the other stallion.
