Last weekend I was in town so I went over to WWHS. Wet, cold, muddy,messed up my shoes.At that time it seemed major demo was halted... too close to Willett?I walked through what had been the cafeteria, the wind was knocking into the window wall that was still standing, knocking out pieces of already shattered glass.It was abit dangerous. I walked across the slate patio and entered the building through a doorway and found that I was in room 110. This room had a full bath adjacent and an adjoining room had some old sinks in it ,apparently original to the building.Iwalked out into the hallway,the water I has seen on the floor at my previous visit had evaporated.Iwalked down the hall and back out through the cafeteria.Someone has spray painted a line on the outside wall and then "save", so maybe that is as far as they were going at that point with the big machinery.Iwent back inside briefly, but it was a cold,windy , wet day and it was just a little bit spooky in ther e so i lost my nerve and did not stay...I wonder what it must be like in there at night.When I first got on site I kept thinking that I was hearing voices...maybe the ghost of Mary Jo Brady or Hattie cooper....but as I came back outside across the cafeteria"s yellow tiled floor I was surprised to find out that I was not the only person exploring the site that afternoon...TO BE CONTINUED.
