Yes, Wilson played under the lights at Frank D Lawrence Stadium on Friday nights. My friends and I would walk from Park View and go through the cemetery to get there. The home field stands (closest to Glascow Street or London Blvd now I believe) were usually filled to the brim with current, former and potential students. This was especially true for Homecoming with the cheer leaders in their "retro" uniforms.
And it was a very vocal crowd with lots of confetti. I still recall coming home and having to shake the IBM punch card chards out of my hair and shirt.
Its heart warming for the Presidents to once again play under the lights on their home field.
Go Presidents!
