$.40 for 18 holes. Good Lord that is pricey! Ha, I just bought a Cinnamon Danish at work for $.85 cents. How times and life changes. That book has some interesting information about a lot of old Virginia homes in a manner which brings to my mind more genteel times here in the Old Dominion.
I have some musician friends in town who drove here from Colorado and stopped in for dinner last night in Smithfield. They have not lived here in over 20 years and according to them have missed life near the lee shore. Crabcakes, hushpuppies and flounder, oh my.
