Here's my 2 cents' worth:
Okay, kid, I gave you a dollar bill for 2 cents worth of candy. There's no sales tax on that amount, so WHY did you only give me 76 cents in change? Oh, you want a government job when you graduate? Okay, that all makes "cents" to me now.
