Well if you had been there from 71 to 75, you would have seen me as the most Godawful, psychotic, musician, fashion slave disaster you could ever imagine. By the start of my Soph year I had grown my hair half way down my back. I had parts of it bleached and, dyed silver, gold, and dayglo yellow, green and, purple. And, add to that my tie dyed T shirts, real snakeskin vest, black leather pants, snakeskin platform shoes. I look back on that now and go, "What the hell was I thinking?" You probably would have laughed yourself hysterical if you saw me back then.
Now, my whole 4 years at Wilson were really strange because I had my 3 Port Norfolk buddies, and I kinda fit in with the beautiful rich kids, the regular middle kind of kids, the nerds and outcasts but, being the weird musician guy that mostly hung out with musicians in their mid to late 20's most of the Wilson crowd kind of never really accepted me. So, I can relate to you feeling lonely, isolated and, not understood.
As far as sports, you will have to get up with John Gray, and several other folks on those accounts. Musta been a long time ago... daggone girl we ain't that old, well some of us at least. Sorry, I'm laughing so hard I'm crying.
