Mike, where's all your old gang? Surely most of 'em are still kicking out there somewhere aren't they? I also appreciate your sense of humor, but what do the non-posting readers and lurkers Want to talk about or read? We few regulars always wish to welcome "new blood", or even new "older blood", but unless we get the word out to the alums with whom we still do communicate with on a regular basis, I fear most know Classmates.com and sites like that far better than they know of this one.
Considering the lamented missing Mr. Gary Mask, I would also ask what he would wish to discuss on this board besides the total "Titanic-ing" of his old hometown. A position with which Dennis, Dave, Janet, a few other posting "stay-here's" (Mike Atkins, et al) and I just happen to disagree. For starters, what's going on with you these days? Still here or moved? Happily retired or still struggling for the "legal tender"? Found happiness in this life, or ready to smack everybody for merely existing? I think you get the picture. Sure, train wrecks can be very entertaining in a somewhat limited way, but interaction amongst old classmates, pals, former neighbors, etc. is far more satisfying to most of us, whether on the board, or thru private emails, one to another.
Many of you out there have told John "Eddie" Lee and the rest of us what you don't want, and what you don't like, but far too many of you have not weighed in here to tell anyone what you DO like or want. In the meantime, don't blame the few of us for not seeing what you wish, if you don't contribute to posts, threads, or start your own up, as you have now done, Mike.
Regards, the ol' Mad Mutt.
