There were two thoughts on that first class of women at UVA, 1) they shouldn't be there at all and 2) there should be more.
On the second thought anent the need for more women, I don't believe that was entirely founded in the idea of equality for all that held with that view. Today the situation is far different at UVA, and I have the opportunity to visit this summer to participate and present material in a short course.
As for Wright, he was just wrong. Obama certainly doesn't want to be known as a "Wright winger."
