The city council voted 7-0 on 4/22/08 to accept a $2.2 million insurance settlement in lieu of rebuilding the gym. So it should not be long before that part of the school comes down or the whole school.I will say as a young child & teenager, I spent a lot of time in that gym on saturday & sunday afternoon's playing basketball with my River Park & Twin Lakes friends when there was no other place to play.
