A co-worker whose sons knew the dear girl from the old skating rink on Hodges Ferry Road, has told me that she was supposed to testify, on the Friday following her untimely death, in a rape case involving herself, and her alleged assailant, the possible murderer. Supposedly the P.P.D. have found the "weapon" which the killer used to dispatch a formidable witness against himself. I am given to truly believe that these facts will soon be made public. Considering my source, I do not think that this is idle rumor.
