Sorry, but Ron Wagner didn't graduate from Wilson until 1965 (unless there were 2 Ron Wagners who played bball for Wilson in the 60's). He graduated with my wife's class. Chris Ellis must have graduated from NN in '60 or '61
I was in the balcony bleachers the night of the Newport News game Lefty described. Our section of the bleachers (they were packed) collapsed the instant the last shot went up. Several people were seriously injured with broken ankles and legs. That may be the most exciting basketball game I have ever seen.
