Thanks. I cannot say that name rings a bell, as it dates back to just before I discovered the greatest sport in the history of the universe. It was Vic Bubas' great Duke team of 1964, Cazzie Russell's great Michigan team of that same year and, most importantly John Wooden's mighty UCLA Bruins who, collectively, along with Bill Russell's dynastic Celtics, turned me on to the balletic, cerebral and dynamic sport of hoops!
Although I know of many players who played before I discovered the game, the one you named is a new one for me. I am very pleased, however, to have this mystery solved. Thank you very much.
