Hey Racers et al. As Tim said, in an effort to provide the best service for this years awards banquet I'd like to get a fairly good count of folks that plan on attending.
After being the station cook for many years in the fire department I gotta say that one of things I feard most was................not having enough food for my boys. You don't wanna leave these guys hungry.
Along those lines, I'd like to take that fear away come December 5th. I want you to be as full as that chubby kid in Willy Wonka after eating all the candy. So, please RSVP ASAP and don't forget to book your rooms at the Hilton Homewood Suites, just a short walk from ROC's Firehouse. Normal room rates are like 189.00 bucks for that time of year, BUT, you're getting them at a highly discounted rate. Totally worth it, especially after a few cocktails. Derrol and I are working on a menu and I look forward to seeing everyone at the WCHRA 2009 Awards banquet.
BTW, Mr Walker, I'm glad you'll be attending this years Crowning of the Champions, but, sir, can you give me a little more detail on who's coming from your team? The term, "the whole bunch of us" is slightly vague
