Posted by Dave on 5/1/2003, 9:43 am Caught two Largemouth (1 - 2 lbs, 1 - 1.5 lbs.) Time of day was off, I saw about a 5-6 lbs. bass sitting in three feet of water. Wasn't biting anything. Came across 6 or 7 medium sized bass which weren't too active either. Good size fish, still way up on the banks. Water temp was in high 60's near the banks.

Both hits were on a six inch long live crawler.
Before that, I tried shiner minnows, and crankbait minnow. Trolled for tigers as well using a rapala 6 inch shiner. No hits. I might try that figure 8.
I'll try early Sat. morning again.
