I was fishing between an island and the main shoreline of Burke Lake when the fish hit. It is no deeper than 5 ft throughout that area and the fish looked like it was getting its first meal out of spawning because it was beatin' up with scars. Another reason why I think the spawn was recent is the water temp was 53 degrees, just a little above the range the DNR says Muskies spawn.
My guess is they will be holding in transition areas like points pretty soon and will be more active. These coming storms look to bring good fishing.
