Two years ago I caught a tiger in March when half of the reservoir was still covered in ice. I was standing in 2 feet of snow on the shoreline casting a rapala husky jerk when I saw the fish rolling at the surface. It was in 3-5 feet of water, over a sandy bottom, in the afternoon, on a sunny day.
