If you live in Maryland, we are talking Tiger Muskies, I believe. Early spring - go with smaller minnow lures to imitate the forage in the lake. Perch and minnow colors work good. I've been fishing for Tigers in Maryland for about 7 years now (I was a bass guy for 30 years). Larger bass jigs are also good. I cast and troll for them. As summer comes, go to the larger musky sized lures. I've had good luck with 8" Beleivers trolling. Galyans has some Musky stuff (mostly spinners). Bass Pro shops has more.
