Your right an all accounts. It gets a lot of bass fisherman all summer long. It has Trout in it too, but I never see anyone fishing for them. You get an occasional Sunfish or Crappie fisherman, but 90% of them are after Bass. I've never seen anyone actually fishing for the Tiger either. All of them I've heard of caught were caught by accident,(them eating a smaller fish that was being caught). I have tried throwing some pike size lures (the 8" Jointed Creek Chub) in there with no luck so far, but I got some new ones I'm going to try next spring. There really aren't much in the way of drop-offs. One at about 6', drops off to 12' in about 15' of distance for about 50 yards of the bank other then that it's pretty flat bottomed.
It would be a waste of time in my opinion, to try to troll for them with diving plugs. Just not enough open water. But I'm curious, do you ever troll weedless top water baits??? That might be the only way to troll here & that about speed? I have heard the faster the better for Tigers, that true? I'm gonna get on this year come hellorhighwater
Tnx for all the help
