I don't know the temp. of the water at the time, but obviously it must have been cold, especially in that running water.

Good question. I fish for Tigers remember. Rather than worry about the water temp. so much, I begin fishing at the time LM Bass start spawning. During the early season, we fish the upper areas of the lake in Bay areas and the emerging weedbeds. Fish will be shallow at this time of year. We switch to smaller minnowbaits and bass-sized jigs. I believe the same tactics for "Naturals" will also work this time of year.
