Hi my name is Harold Bryant was stationed at Takhli from April of 73 TDY till Oct of 73 out of Nellis with the 474th assigned to the 366th I was at nellis two weeks and was on a plane to Takhli . in the maintenance Hydraulic shop. Trying to locate someone that was there when I was. I saw Bert.s pictures of the Takhli vets page. I remember Mike McDonough face and I have a number of names from the forum. I worked with a troop named Buffington out of my shop it's a longshot hoping would remember me or Buffington. I was from Louisiana he was from Georgia we worked the phase docks and the flight line mostly. we also worked the anything that landed at Takhli C-130's, KC 141, C-147, the Sikorsky S-61R , bell Helicopters UH-1, AH-1 , Hughes OH-6 A -4's , A-6's , UC 123 and of course we had a 100 A and F-111. A 52 would land once in a while, what ever came in we worked it. I was there when the two 111's collided and one lost about 5 or six feet of it's wing. Just before I left the 141 brought a new wing in to be attached to the one that came in. Here is a list of the names of men that were there when I was; Chris Nutt, Chris you may not remember me but there was a guy by the Name of Routh that was into the marshal arts heavy as you were he was recruited to train the Tai soldiers. He was in the hydraulic shop with me I trained under him for a while myself. More names of guys that were there when I was; ; Mark a Armitage, Ray Lance , Joseph Munch, Steve Perkins, Altus Menifee, Bob Smith, Allen Erickson, George Parker, Tom Richards. And if any SP's remember arresting a drunk and stupid guy for pissing in the middle of the road just outside from the NCO club about midnight call me that was me. I have multiple problems from Agent Orange need a buddy letter. but more than that it would be good just to talk to you guys again thanks a lot. My prayers are with you all. Hi, Sorry to hear about your A/O issues. Hope you get through it successfully. I was there in 67 & 68 working on the KC-135's as a electrician. We left and went to CCK to make room the 111's there at Takhli. All the guys you mentioned came after we left, I would think.
