I was station at cannon AFB and was told to proceed to takhi ab asap this was in april 72. It was a very hard since my wife dont know how to drive and we have a small boy at that time. Anyway I went to thailand via clark ab in P.i and I saw alot of airman from different bases are just like in my situation. Stay in Clark for 2 days and they flew us to danang and don muang ab in thailand and bus us to takhli. going back to the U.S was the same mode of transportation and route too. Have a great memory of takhli people i worked with. I was in Supply Squardon. I was the ncoic of storage and issue and the supply locator unit. Work with great people, Benie Mafnas our SMSgt, thai national Citichai, damrong, my friend Frank Edwards, Freddie Fisher and so may of them . we were young and careless. What a memory. I was surprised when I filled for disability the V.A told me that I am not even in Thailand.

Thai nationals full name was Cheyenne Citichai. Great to work with. He actually went to Colorado for training while I was there. He had never seen snow before and he had a picture of his room in Colorado with a snowman built inside the room. He said it was too cold outside and he didn't have cold weather gear.
