Posted by Milly Sue 1LT Koss was stationed with the 497th Tactical Fighter Squadron (“Night Owls”), 8th Tactical Fighter Wing (“Wolfpack”), 7th Air Force which was based at the Ubon Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand which is about 250 mi. northeast of Bangkok. The plane was an F-4D (Phantom II) with tail number 65-0800 He was killed 7-6-72 coming back from a night mission . He was from Bridgeport, Ohio I am lookinf for anything stories, emails letters, pictures, anything Lt Koss was to be married to a lady I am friends with and she till this day is very much in love with him and has lived a life of hell without him I would love to gather anything I can to make an album for her I only hope he knew how much he was loved she has never truly been happy since his death if something I can find can help her. LT Koss was an Air Force pilot stationed at Ubon, Thailand - with the 435th TFS (Tactical Fighter Squadron, known as the Eagle Flights), a group under the 8th TFW (Tactical Fighter Wing, known as the Wolfpack).61
