Combat Pay collected in both actions." I could have let most of that pass, but the Bronze Star nomination - no way. The award is too important to let a poseur tarnish it, especially for those who gave their lives for it. So, I contacted the Air Force who assured me that his claim about flying front line combat in 68 and front line in 91 in different air frames was highly unlikely (they laughed, actually). I then filed a FOIA request. Like I said, I can't let something like this go. My Dad was a combat paratrooper. It tends to run in the blood. It came up as "inconclusive" because I don't have his full first name, full dates of service or service number. In fact, he refuses to give ANY details of his time with the 355th at all, which futher concerns me. Does anybody know this guy and is he for real? The 355th has a great reputation and I hate to see some poseur pulling something like this tarnishing it with his nonsense. Lee Darrow, C.H.
