I was at Takhli Mar68-Mar69 as a weapons loader in the 354tfs. Every time I saw an F-105 kick into afterburner, and roll down the runway,it left a lump in my throat. I remember the chaplain blessing the pilots and the aircraft just as the jet was ready for takeoff. Your husband was a hero for his part in the war, and I am glad he came back regardless of his survivors guilt. You can be proud of him. All of us that served together are brothers for life.
