Re: agent orange tahli, thialand
USAF does not admit to AO in Thailand, but due to Checo Report does accept use of tactical herbicides on Thailand base perimeters. (By the way the rainbow herbicides Orange, White, Blue are tactical herbicides?) So, any claim should be submitted for herbicide exposure. In a claim you must prove you were on or near the perimeter for work, play, housing, whatever (key word is prove). You must have a herbicide (Agent Orange) listed disease or residual effects from a disease or multiple diseases. Best option is to file a Fully Developed Claim (FDC) where you provide all medical records and information as part of the claim, it speeds up the process considerably. My initial FDC claim was three and one half pounds of information. And yes, I was denied and then won on a Notice of Disagreement hearing with a DRO. Just wanted you to know it can be done, its not easy. I was a jet aircraft mechanic with the 333rd TFS in 1966. LouB.
