Many years have passed but we have a pretty good record here in helping families reconnect with a father's or husbands or in this case an uncle's service at Takhli. It's very gratifying when we can help family - thanks to all of you and good folks like Susie who's been a pleasure to work with this year.
If someone has a lead and pointer to an EB-66 website or reunion site that would be a useful avenue for Richard to pursue also.
Thanks - and Richard Chok Dee - good luck

Hi Mr Williams, I have been looking through your website on Takhli and find it a great resource to get an Idea of the USAF Fraternity my uncle had there.
I have been using many resources to get some idea of his service and found a letter to my aunt Theresa Nelson with no date on it saying My uncle, Maj Oscar W Nelson was a great resource written by Commander Heath Bottomly and saying he was proud of her holding down the fort at home , going on to say that “he hoped to send Oscar home soon as rules permit”.
Would you have a resource that would help me search further? He never spoke of it much and now that I am older, I would like to understand those roles he played…. He passed away some years ago in aberdeen MS and was treated for liver cancer in Colombus Ms at the AFB/VA there.
I know he started in 1954 and was involved w SAC flying B-52, was in Rome NY about 1965 ? seemed like he was always on “alert” and was also flying EB-66 in Takhli and EB-52 somewhere in SE Asia as well…
My aunt is 94 and barely able to get around but I asked her for any records or numbers she might have ,,,, not expecting much , his children are alive but again they said he never talked of his work in Thailand / VietNam
1954-1974 retired
1954, flt school Arizona
54,55,56 B47 in SAC
57 B52 67,68 EB66
70,71 back in Vietnam/thailand
Thanks any direction would be appreciated
