People then put in appeals and it gets put on the pile of dead wood. I think as of this Tuesday they all be out of work due to the shutdown. They will no doubt look at appeals in the next 100 years if we are lucky. Their numbers really look good and what they say is we process all claims within 300 days or less. Oh my god what a great job? Has the Media or anyone with a brain looked at the number of appeals. I think St. Pete regional office in Florida where I live has at least 30000 appeals. Mine is about 3.5 years old and I was told im at or near the top so I expect my appeal to be heard within the next couple of years. Congress really needs a wakeup call. SO when they do get back to processing appeals they will probably say Oh it's because of the shutdown .
Actually they have been doing this all along. Is this Delay and deny is this delay until dead. Remember you have to keep a sense of HUMOR even if things sometimes look dire. SO Im interested in seeing what replys this brings.
