Re: agent orange
My husband was at Udorn 432 FMS 12/71 to 12/72. He passed away from lung cancer 11/12/06. I know that he went into Vietnam by truck from Udorn. He was not allowed to write me until he got back. I know that he would have received combat pay as he told me he did and the fact that they had to lie down in the back of this truck as they were being fired upon while leaving Vietnam. I have sent for my husband payroll records which took months to get a response and when I did I was told they could not locate any records for that whole year. Then I sent for records just for the period of his tour at Udorn and got a letter this past week saying they were on loan to HQ AFPC/DPSSRP Randolph AFB. I have tried calling but have not gotten through as of yet...so good luck on getting those records. I was told the only hope I have is to find someone who knew him while he was over there that could write a letter comfirming what I am saying. I am looking for someone that knew Daniel A Revitsky he was there 12/71 to 12/72. Thanks and good luck.
