What a great recall for names! I now remember several of those guys, now that you have put them back out there for me! Another Tech. Rep. that you might recall is Armond Akerie (sp?) of Applied Technology, Palo Alto Ca. Anybody remember the gray ECM receiver that had the magnesium self-destruct package inside that was always going off and charcoaled the works. It was totally FUBAR when this happened. I can't recall what the system designator was, or the reps. name that was responcable for it. It was only carried on "F"- Weasels. Any one remember the wire recorders that the RB-66's carried? They sure did carry some antiquated stuff to do their job. It was quite an honor to work those boxes, knowing full well what the crew faced when they went after those Sam II sites. I can remember listening to some of the tapes that our lunch box recorder carried of the Inter-com. chatter while over the target sites of audio and RAHW gear sounds that they encountered! Such truely great heros we worked for! I also remember that many dinn't come back. It gave us reason to do the best we could to keep that stuff working. God bless them all!
