This Wednesday (Veteran's Day)I plan to ride my Norton motorcycle to Chillicothe, MO to visit an old friend of mine (F-105B 57-5819 next under) who stands proud and silent guarding the entrance to their airport, and at least metaphorically, our Republic.

And that evening at sunset, with a ‘stiff one to hand’, I plan to enjoy a fine cigar while reflecting on the courage and sacrifice of all my colleagues who have served as well as those still on the tip of the spear.
