i was an eromedivac tech stationed at takhli in 1967 until Tet when i went to finish my tour in viet nam. i flew in the c-47 whenever anyone had to be sent to bangcock or the phillipines fro medical treatment.i was on the flight line when a jet engine sucked in a mechanic and we tried to save his life.i have pics of the opening ceremonies upon the arrival of the first f111's.once a monthe we flew the brass over viet nam so they could earn their flight pay and combat pay for the month. i was in the ambulance on the flight line when the sr-71 landed and took off.have several pics of the 100 mission party on the flight line after td.would like to hear from anyone who may remember.
