Hi Takhli Alumni,

I've come here because we have found unit patches belonging to Bob Saffel from the 357th TFS.

I'm trying to help my girlfriend, Ms. Sabrina Saffel, piece together her fathers flying career. At this point we know he flew Super Sabres, Thuds, and Ardvarks. I have very little to go on regarding his early flying days. I have come across very limited info while trying to help her. We know that he graduated from Bryan in class 57N. From there we have very little info until his Thud days.

Col. Saffel passed away on May19,2005, 7 months before I met his lovely daughter. Currently Sabrina is trying to put together a scrap book for each of her sibling regarding her fathers career. If anyone can be on any assistance please contact me or Ms. Sabrina Saffel (sabeez@aol.com)
