takhli 1963

I came to Takhli in late 1963 TDY from Cannon AFB. We had just returned from TDY at McDill AFB during the Cuban missle affair and almost emmeidately went to Takhli. I am presently in Chiang Mai and plan on going to Nakhon Sawan and hopefully I can get a tour of Takhli or at least get a picture or two. From what I see of the pictures of the base I doubt I will recognize anything. We were living in a large wooden building that I had been told was built by the Japanese in WW2. There was very little there and I think we had about 15 or 20 100's. Would like to hear from anyone that was there during those early days.
