I was an A1C Autopilot Specialist on F-105s,that were send TDY from McConnell AFB, Wichita Kansas, as part of the 563 Tactical Fighter Squadron assigned to Takhli Air base, Thailand, from April 8,1965 to July 1965.I also redeployed to Saigon for 3 days in June of 1965, for in country operations, and was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal for this redeployment.
I would love to hear from any other of my brothers,who were part of this operation,and remembers the days of yore.
