That's me -Dick Williams - along with my friend Narong on a trip up river from Takhli to Narong's village.
This was in 1970 and I don't recall the name of the village but it was about an hour by riverboat on the Chao Phya river. Narong taught a Thai language course on base and I took the class, we became friends through that affiliation.
Would be fun to hear from him - anybody else take the on-base class - as well as the informal classes we all tood downtown?
Add 36 years and and about 36 pounds for today's view of that guy on the left.
