Carl,Your best bet would be to direct Aaron to the Vietnam Security Police Association website. it includes Thailand security police veterans and has a wealth of information on Agent Orange Exposure,Type II diabetes, proving "in -country" presence in Vietnam etc, etc. I was at Takhli in '66, have Type II diabetes and just finished the process of filing my claim. Took almost ayear to gather documants, put together a case etc. Total of 53 pages. If Aaron was a security policeman, I can almost bet you he has compensable hearing loss. the first thing he should do is go to audiologist (medical doctor -ear nose and throat specialist) and have a hearing exam (audiogram). If he has hearing loss in both ears starting in the 3000 hertz range at 20-30 decibals or more and has ringing in his ears-good possibility for a disability rating just for that. if he has any questions I will be glad to help to point him in the right direction.
