I was stationed at Takhli for 3 years and 4 months. I extended as I married a Thai girl (Ladda) who worked in document control. I worked in NORS control.I had many friends over the years and rented a house in Chinot.
I have just put in a claim for agent orange as I have type two diabetes, I had a heart attack five years ago and had three stints put in, I'm blind in my right eye , I have had my baby toe on my left foot amputated, I have high blood pressure, I'm bi-polar and I have to have surgery on my shoulders among other things. Does anyone remember Terry Daru. He was an operator at the base and when I got discharged he got inot the OSI and I believe he went to Cambodia or Laos.I also had a friend by the name of Perry Koonce. He did 100 mission parties among other duties.
