This is a great message. I was in Takhli in 66-early 67 assigned to the 355th MMS and a gun plumber assigned to the 333rd TFS. Many of the buildings that you have mentioned were not there during my stay. We all lived close to the swimming pool in hooches, and then a short walk to the flight line over a board walk. I have not been to that part of the country since Jan of 67. My oldest Son however was USN and was there during his Navy career in the late 80's. He was aboard the USS Midway. We were not allowed to take pics any where near the flight line. An agreement with the Thai Govt. that we were not flying missions from there. Oh how things have changed...
