I was stationed at Takli from June 69 to June 70 and I do remember an F-105 two seater coming in with the gears up and a 250 hanging on the wing that nevers fell on his mision. I was on duty on the docks and he came in very early in the morning (still very dark). I dont remember what time it happened. I do remember that the two pilots got out of it before it blew up on the runway.
