My father was at Takhli '64-65 , TDY I believe , and PCS at Korat , in and out of DaNang and Clark. I think he was with the 401st maintenance sq. , worked hydrualics, and was TDY with the 613th , 614th , and 615th TFS at one time or the other. My fathers name and rank, SSGT Earl O Parker , who is still alive and well. I have been trying to get his replacement medals. I sent the 180 form with his info. and they sent me a letter stating he didn't show , or qualify for any. My father spent 8+ years in the army , and 12+ years in the AF , 10+ years of combined SEA time and he doesn't have 1 medal!!! How can this be right? He was also in occupied Japan. His AF SEA time is wrong , how can I get this problem solved?
